Free sites for MPs.
Colchester based e-commerce financial software house Access Accounting has issued a challenge to the UK government to get online. In response to Tony Blair’s aim of making Britain the leading country in the world in which to carry out e-commerce, the company has offered MPs the chance to set up a free home page. ‘This will offer non-technically minded MPs an easy route to the internet,’ said Access MD Alistair O’Reilly. ‘The government keeps talking about e-government, e-business and e-people. We want to empower them to do something about it.’
