Electronic tax return filing by end of month

The Inland Revenue has posted more information on its website about how taxpayers can file their tax returns electronically.

From the end of this month, most individuals will be able to send their 1999/2000 self-assessment tax returns over the internet. To use the service, taxpayers will first need to visit the Inland Revenue’s website, which can be accessed through the AccountancyAge.com home page, to register.
