Manchester United FD joins Top Up TV
Humby joins Top Up TV just days after quitting Man United group FD role
Nick Humby is joining Top Up TV as CFO, just days after quitting his role as
group FD of Manchester United.
Humby held several roles in TV and media prior to joining Manchester United
in 2002.
He served as FD of Screensport and subsequently Thames Television, and has
held non-executive roles in both the Modern times Group and the Ambassadors
Theatre Group.
‘I have had a fantastic five years at Manchester United, but the opportunity
to join a young business such as Top Up TV that is well positioned to develop as
a result of the growth of Freeview homes, analogue switch off and the
development of Personal Video Recorders (PVR) technology was too tempting to
resist,’ said Humby.
