French Duncan has appointed Euan Ferries as director of corporate advisory.
Prior to joining the Glasgow-headquartered firm, Ferries – an experienced
corporate financier – worked for visual services business ADS Visual, and was a
senior manager at BDO Stoy Hayward.
French Duncan’s corporate division was rebranded as a corporate advisory
department following the appointment of partner Graeme Finnie in May this year.
According to the firm, this was in order to ‘more closely reflect a broader
approach to advice offered to clients on all aspects of their business on an
ongoing basis’.
Finnie, said: ‘Both Euan and myself have direct industry experience, which is
uncommon for corporate advisory personnel in accountancy firms.
‘Our offering is broader than that of most corporate finance departments;
extending beyond the confines of corporate finance into corporate advisory work,
strategic advice and ongoing assistance with all the managerial aspects of
running a business, from financial management through to its strategic direction
and assistance with the implementation of that strategy.’
