NHS in Wales lags behind.

A lack of funding means the NHS in Wales is lagging behind in appointing a ‘Fraud Tsar’. The news comes in a report from the National Audit Office which reveals deficits in the Welsh health service rising by £21.8m to £53.9m. Sir John Bourn, head of the NAO, said: ‘The NHS Directorate of the National Assembly for Wales must urgently address this by ensuring that robust recovery plans are in place.’
