Global investment group appoints CFO
Loren Starr takes senior finance role at AMVESCAP
Global investment group AMVESCAP has appointed Loren Starr as its new chief
financial officer, after James Robertson stepped down from the role.
Starr has held previous senior financial roles within the corporate finance
and investment communities.
He has spent the past four years at Janus Capital Group as senior VP and CFO,
having served as head of corporate finance from 1998 to 2001 at mutual fund
company Putnam Investments.
‘With his practical knowledge of all aspects of a public investment
management company, including mutual fund expertise and corporate finance,
Loren’s skills will strengthen our management team as we work to build value for
our clients and shareholders,’ said AMVESCAP president and CEO Martin Flanagan.
