Student success rewarded
PricewaterhouseCoopers students cleaned up in the prizes for this summer's ICAEW professional stage exams, picking up the top three overall order of merit positions and seven of the 21 prizes on offer.

First place in the technical core 1 exams went to Hazel Copeland, from the firm’s Southampton office, second prize to London-based Rachel Wray with Alison Hoskin of Leeds winning third place.
The firm scooped a total of seven awards. Other large firms with students honoured included Ernst & Young, Arthur Andersen, Deloitte & Touche and Grant Thornton.
One student from Morgan Brown Spofforth, ranked 32nd in the Accountancy Age Top 50, received two prizes – one for taxation and the other for financial reporting.
