New recruits look for ethical approach
An ethical approach in business is becoming increasingly important for recruiting top-quality employees, according to a report out this week.
The research, conducted by consultancy Article 13, found that young graduates are not only interested in career prospects, but environmental, social and ethical policies, but the policies they companies adopt too.
‘More than a quarter of the candidates we are now placing, specifically request companies who adopt ethical policies,’ said David Simpson of recruitment consultancy Hitchenor Maher.
The report also highlighted that 73% of a companies asked believed that staff morale had been improved when ethical policies had been adopted.
