Ernst & Young will act for Endemol, the makers of Big Brother, when the
company floats later this month for an expected £1.1bn.
Telefonica, the Spanish telecoms group which owns Endemol, has applied to
list the firm on Euronext Amsterdam on or around November 22.
The flotation will not include the firm’s French division, which makes up a
quarter of its valuation, after a dispute with management over payouts.
Endemol also announced a 15% rise in net profits to £40m in the first nine
months of the year.
