The Works Media Group sacrifices Norman Humphrey as part of redundancy round

Independent film distributor The Works Media Group has let go of chief
executive and finance director Norman Humphrey as part of a round of
redundancies.

The company, which was responsible for the UK release of the ‘Joy Division’
documentary and ‘Anvil! The Story of Anvil’ said Humphrey has stepped down from
the board and left the company.

His duties will be taken on by chairman Costa Theo as Works Media tries to
bring costs ‘into line with current business levels’.
