Finance chiefs hoping for a gastronomic extravaganza at the CFO summit in September had better find themselves a decent restaurant on the way, if the conference programme is to be believed.
Sharp-eyed delegates perusing the programme of the conference, run by the World Trade Group, will have noted the main meal starting the conference is billed as a ‘Gala Diner’.
Most might have overlooked this as a typo, but alarm bells will have started ringing when they spotted the guest speaker at the ‘diner’ was Barry Gibbons, former CEO of Burger King.
Whoppers all round, by the looks of it.
