Due diligence consortium expands with one of UK's top ten firms
Smith & Williamson, one of the country’s top ten firms, has joined the
consortium Sigma
Partnership to supply specialist due diligence advice to institutional
investors.
Natasha Lee, director of Assurance & Business Services at Smith
& Williamson, said: “The consortium will provide institutional investors
with fee certainty, independence, relevant skills and expertise, added-value and
professionalism that will be subject to rigorous standards of professional
conduct and oversight.”
Other members of the consortium include BDO, UHY Hacker Young as well as
specialist law firms such as DLA Piper and Norton Rose
The consortium provides in-depth coverage of legal, financial and
accounting, tax, regulatory and compliance, risk management, corporate
governance and internal control functions and its clients cinlude hedge funds,
private equity firms and institutional investors.
