Wier Group has appointed the first woman director in its 129-year history.
Linda Andrews, 33, has taken up a position as finance director with Weir Systems, the group’s computer services arm. Andrews trained with KPMG in Glasgow and has returned to her native Scotland following roles with NCR in Europe and the USA, and more recently with Nycomed Amersham’s Imaging Division.
