TS was delighted to hear that the book, peppered throughout by comments from Lord Sharman on how he brought the worlds of culture and KPMG together, has now reached the dizzy heights of 600th in amazon.com’s worldwide bestseller list.
Expect the paperback to be out soon.
Over a particularly good claret, Lord Sharman let slip his views on Sir Peter Kemp, the former senior Treasury civil servant who recently put the boot into Sharman’s report on central government auditing.
TS however gathers the feeling is mutual and with comments such as ‘pathetic’ and ‘nutter’ flying about we fully expect the lord and knight clash to rumble on.
