Tea parties take place across the US in protest at tax policy

Americans held around 2,000 ‘tea parties’ across the US in protest at rising
taxes and anger over the use of tax havens.

Many states are considering tax hikes, while New York and California have
recently passed large tax increases.

The tea parties are decentralised and usually take place with little
planning.
