Owen is top man for Deloitte Consulting
David Owen has been appointed managing partner of Deloitte Consulting, following a 10-month spell as the division's chief operating officer.

Owen has served with Deloitte Consulting since joining its Durban office (in South Africa) in 1987 before relocating to the UK in 1994.
Since then he has led both Deloitte’s UK manufacturing and European customer relationship management practices, before serving as Deloitte Consulting’s MD between 2000 and 2003.
‘My appointment comes at a very exciting time for the consultancy industry, part of which is a result of the increasingly regulated environment in which we operate,’ said Owen.
The firm also recruited another six consultants at the start of June. Owen said: ‘We are seeing a strong upturn in the market.’
