Domain name pain for PwC's Monday
PwC Consulting - or Monday: as it should now be called - has gone to great lengths to promote its new image, setting up a website to extol the virtues of that most hated day of the week.
But it only goes to show that, even if you spend £75m, it all comes to nought if you can’t get the basics right.
The firm’s site, www.introducingmonday.com, is very flash, but ultimately uninformative.
Not so at introducingmonday.co.uk – this rather less flash site tells you that PwC failed to secure the domain name, and instead of images of Monday morning, you are greeted with two V signs and a donkey.
So the next time you are looking for some e-business consultancy, you know who to call.
