Primarolo to address tax institute next month

Dawn Primarolo, the paymaster general, is to make a keynote speech at the Chartered Institute of Taxation's annual address in April.

Primarolo is expected to outline government thinking on business and corporate tax issues in the inaugural Chartered Tax Advisers’ Address on April 4.

The address is being launched by the institute as an annual event and will be followed by 40 minutes of questions by an invited audience.

She will be joined by a panel including John Whiting, the institute’s vice president, Graham Aaronson QC and Tina Knight of Knighthawk Electronics. Sara Coburn, presenter of BBC Business Breakfast, will chair the panel.

The Chartered Institute of Tax Advisers’ address will be held at One Great George Street on April 4.
