ICAEW fees rise to beat inflation...again

Membership fees at the ICAEW are set to rise above inflation for the third successive year.

If approved by members at June’s AGM, the annual payment will reach £231, up 44% from £160 in 2001.

A straw poll at the institute’s conference in 2001 rejected a proposal by Howard Leigh, the then Tory treasurer and founder of Cavendish Corporate Finance, to raise fees to between £250 and £300.
