Software update: Pegasus appoints new COO
Pegasus have moved quickly to replace outgoing chief operating officer Paul White, who left the company last week, with former sales director Andy West.
Speaking to AccountancyAge.com at Softworld, Pegasus said White had left for personal reasons. He has moved on to SunSystems reseller Touchstone after two years at the company.
A spokesman called his departure ‘regrettable’ but said the company was looking to move forward under the leadership of West.
Meanwhile, Pegasus had been talking at the show about its CRM (customer relationship management) strategy. CRM is becoming the hot topic in accountancy software, with the likes of Sage and Microsoft Great Plains recently announcing their intentions to move into this arena.
