In the 17 August edition of Accountancy Age, the story ‘Hyder takeover decision looms’ overstated the shareholdings of two executives of the Welsh utility. We reported that, at WPD’s offer price, Hyder chief executive Graham Hawker’s holding would be worth #5.2m in ordinary shares and #1.7m in incentive shares. These figures should have been #52,000 and #17,000. The #47,000 holding of chief executive of infrastructure John James was also overstated at #4.7m. Accountancy Age would like to apologise to both Mr Hawker and Mr James for the error.
