Numerica buys tax consultancy

Listed-accountancy consolidator Numerica has made its ninth acquisition since listing in 2001, buying a specialist tax consultancy business based in Manchester

Numerica will pay £0.7m for Forbes Dawson, which has an annual turnover of £1m, with four partners and 5 other professional staff.

Forbes Dawson will be relocated to Numerica’s Manchester office and will help grow the firm’s tax consulting business.

Chief executive of Numerica, Tony Sarin, said: ‘Forbes Dawson has a great reputation for their specialist tax work and we are delighted that they will be joining us.’
