Accountants to benefit as AIA joins IFSL

London accountants and those with ACA qualifications will benefits from AIA move to join IFSL

The Association of International
Accountants
(AIA)’s decision to join
International Financial
Services London
(IFSL), a 40-year old non-profit organisation with more than
130 members active in banking, insurance, regulation, professional services and
trading exchanges, is expected to benefit London accountants and those with ACA
qualifications.

Philip Turnbull, AIA chief executive, said the body had extensive links with
business and government both in London and overseas which would complement AIA’s
activities.

The group’s initiatives in training, qualifications and education were of
interest to the AIA and would complement its goals of promoting superior
standards of professional qualifications, which could help London recruiters and
the accountancy sector as a whole, according to
Witan
Jardine
recruiting consultants.

The IFSL is a partners of the Corporation of the City of London and UK Trade
and Investment.
