Small firms will do best, says Media Vision

A new information age fuelled by the rapid changes in IT will see small firms outperform their larger competitors over the next 20 years, says Media Vision, a report by communications technology firm Mitel Telecom.

It attributes these changes to the flexibility of smaller firms and new market entrants, and both their access to and ability to manage the same information on a global scale, as governments and their larger competitors.

It predicts that larger firms will quickly lose market share. Computerised telephone systems with automatic interpreting technology will allow virtual meetings between world leaders, says the report.
