EU fraud crises deepens
The European Union's anti-fraud office OLAF has confirmed the allegations of fraud at the body that represents local and regional authorities, reports the Financial Times.

Citing ‘people familiar with the confidential report in which the allegations were confirmed’ the FT claims that some members of the 222-strong Committee of the Regions had made false declarations.
The report found ‘systematic and flagrant incompetence within the committee’.
