Olympic FD Wood awarded MBE

Accountancy Age Personality of the Year Neil Wood wins MBE

Neil Wood, the finance director who helped put together the successful London
Olympic 2012 bid, has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s New Year honours list.

Wood, a Deloitte partner, was joined by other Olympic bid executives and the
Ashes-winning cricket team in picking up awards.

Wood won Personality of the Year at the Accountancy Age awards in
November, and serves as interim FD for the Local Organising Committee of the
Olympic Games.
