Transaction updates IRIS software

Accountancy support services specialists Transaction Technology has released a new version of its IRIS software.

Version 7.4 of its integrated suite of software features improved functionality of the time and fees module, the personal and business tax programs and the accounts production system. IRIS is designed to support accountancy practices manage their clients.

And for the first time the product will feature on-screen billing, so decisions on billing can now be made on-screen rather than via a printed report.

The new version can also generate payment reminders and accountants can also allocate good or bad payer status to clients – with reminders adjusted accordingly. Fields have also been added for the 150% enhanced research and development expenditure on the CT600 for the 2000 tax year.

Group chief executive Martin Leuw was pleased with the new developments and believes they enable accountants to adapt more effectively to changing fiscal and company legislation.

‘The new features help to streamline client affairs, making it easier to operate more efficiently and compete more effectively,’ he said.
