Coda wins Mediaforce deal
Mediaforce brings Coda accounting software on board
Advertising distributor Mediaforce has signed a deal to implement Coda
accounting software.
Mediaforce FD Ian Springett said the group’s ‘complex’ organisational
structure, made up of a number of different companies, led it to choose software
that had a flexible chart of accounts.
‘We anticipate that when the system is up and running and fully integrated
with our booking systems that we will have a much clearer idea of how the
business is performing,’ said Springett, ‘and will see significant time savings
by being able to access the information we want, when we want it.’
Mediaforce purchased licences for CODA-Financials and e-Finance, CODA-XL
Professional and CODA-Image Post. It will run the CODA system in a Microsoft
Windows environment with a Microsoft SQL Server database.
Coda has also revealed strong figures for 2005. Operating profits after
goodwill amortisation grew to £9.5m, up from £7.3m a year before.
