Former PwC partner on Simmons & Simmons board

Former PwC partner has been appointed to the board of top law firm Simmons & Simmons

In a board restructure, top 10 City law firm
Simmons
& Simmons
has appointed Rodger Hughes, a former PricewaterhouseCoopers
(PwC) partner, as a non-executive director.

Hughes, who has worked at PwC for 37 years, will chair the law firm’s audit
committee.

He left PwC in 2007 after which he was in a number of advisory positions,
including serving as a member of the steering board and chair of the audit
committee of Companies House.

In addition to Hughes, Simmons’ board includes one other non-executive
director, Sharon Studer, who was previously at KPMG.
