Legal & General FD to leave, say reports

Andrew Palmer to leave Legal & General after eight years, according to press reports

Legal & General is set to change its finance director, according to
reports.

Andrew Palmer, FD since 2001, is expected to step down later this year,
reports the
Telegraph.

Tensions have risen between the City and L&G over the investment
specialist’s level of disclosure on capital and reserving at the end of 2008,
and issues around its cutting of its dividend.

L&G refused to comment.
