Improved Sage software package aimed at small businesses

Sage has launched a new version of its Instant Accounting 2000, which it claims offers smaller businesses and quick and powerful software solution to managing their accounts.

It contains four ledgers for sales, purchases and nominal and bank accounts, plus the ability to hold stock information and produce product or services invoices.

VAT management is also helped by a VAT Liability and Transfer Wizard allows the user to view at a glance which customers are liable to pay VAT, and produces the necessary VAT returns.

New features include a new Global Search Engine allowing you to search for specific customers and suppliers, or look for an individual transaction.

Sage Instant Accounting 2000 is therefore fully web-enabled and users can access the internet directly from the main toolbar within the programme.

Sage Instant Accounting 2000 retails at £99, including VAT.
