Deloitte gets new private client head

Higgleton joined Deloitte in 2001 and has over 20 years experience specialising in advising individuals and partners in professional firms

Paula Higgleton has been appointed head of Deloitte’s private client services
practice.

Higgleton, who joined Deloitte in 2001 and has over 20 years experience
specialising in advising individuals and partners in professional firms, was
recently named one of the Top 100 private client advisers by Citywealth. She
takes over from Tony Cohen, who has stepped up to head Deloitte’s
entrepreneurial business.

Deloitte’s head of tax, David Sproul, said Higgleton’s experience fits
perfectly with the firm’s ambition to be recognised as the number one choice for
wealthy individuals seeking private client services.

‘I am pleased to confirm that Tony Cohen will remain involved in the private
client services practice as a senior partner offering strategic input and
counsel to the new private client services leadership team and continuing his
work with many of the people in the practice,’ said Sproul.

Higgleton said Deloitte’s ongoing commitment is to help wealth individuals
protect and enhance their assets by providing them with advice and a compliance
service that is second to none.

‘I’m delighted and very proud to be taking up the mantle from Tony Cohen and
eager to continue to enhance the service and expertise we offer our clients,’
she said.
