New board members at FRC
The Financial Reporting Council has made two new appointments to its board, taking onboard experts from the field of financial research.

Joining the FRC board are Tony Good, an independent equity research consultant, who acts as an adviser at GAM (London) owned by UBS. He is currently chairman of UKSIP’s Accounting Advocacy Committee and is also a member of the CFA Institute’s Global Financial Reporting Advocacy Committee.
The other appointee is Peter Westlake, the UK Head of Research at Deutsche Asset Management, who qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young.
Both appointments were announced by FRC chairman, Sir Bryan Nicholson, who said: ‘I am very delighted with the quality and experience that both Tony Good and Peter Westlake bring to the Board. We have under Ian Mackintosh’s chairmanship, a Board which combines experience of business, the accountancy and law profession.’
