Sacked accountant in US shooting rampage
Two people killed, third injured in shooting at sacked accountant's workplace
An accountant who was sacked from his job in Detroit has gone on a shooting
rampage in the building he worked, killing two people and critically injuring a
third.
The man identified as
Anthony
LaCalamita, 38 was fired last week. He was arrested after a dramatic
high-speed chase after another driver recognised his vehicle as the getaway car
described on the radio.
LaCalamita was listed among the professional staff on the website of
Gordon Advisers, a public accounting and
business consulting firm.
Sheriff Robert Pickell said at a press conference that LaCalamita gave no
explanation for the shooting.
