Grant Thornton poaches Kidsons partner

Grant Thornton has announced the appointment of Matt Hendersen as a partner dealing with its Recovery and Reorganisation Services for Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Hendersen’s move from mid-tier rivals HLB Kidsons – where he worked as head of Corporate Recovery and Insolvency Services in Scotland – brings the total number of Grant Thornton UK partners to 248.

The firm has also named two new partners at its Milton Keynes office. Jonathan Riley has worked for Grant Thornton since 1996 and has been made office managing partner. He continues as a regional tax partner.

In his third term at the Milton Keynes office, Phil Jackson will now be office managing partner for East Midlands Corporate Finance with the added responsibility of being regional corporate finance partner for the central and eastern region.
