Catherine Barton named as one of the UK's highest achieving women in management consultancy poll
Catherine Barton, insurance partner and actuary at Deloitte has been selected
as one of the UK’s highest achieving women.
Barton, 33 was named in Management Today’s ‘Top 35 Women under 35’ list and
is one of the youngest of the 638 partners at Deloitte. She became a partner at
31 and remained Deloitte’s youngest partner for two years.
As a partner in Deloitte’s insurance practice, Barton provides actuarial
advice to a number of international insurers. She also leads a team of actuaries
and is very involved in developing more junior members of Deloitte’s insurance
team. She has a particular interest in encouraging more women into the
profession.
Barton said of her selection: ‘It’s an honour to be included in this list of
women and I am absolutely delighted. I’d like to thank Deloitte for the support
they’ve given me to develop my career.’
