ACCA signs new Hong Kong recognition agreement
Qualified Hong Kong accountancy students will be able to apply for ACCA membership following the signing of an international agreement.
The institute will allow Hong Kong Society of Accountants students who have completed their soceity’s qualification programme to apply for membership.
President of HKS, PM Kam and ACCA president Moyra Kedslie struck the deal at a meeting of the International Federation of Accountants.
ACCA chief executive Anthea Rose said: ‘This formal alliance is a major development of our close and productive relationship with HKSA.’
