PwC chosen for Hackney internal audit

The London Borough of Hackney has announced its choice of PricewaterhouseCoopers to provide its internal audit services.

Under a four and a half year contract starting from 1 October, the borough – once branded by the press as part of the loony left – sees this as an opportunity to improve Hackney’s services and its corporate reputation.

Hackney’s new managing director Max Calle, said: ‘PwC has demonstrated an innovative approach to internal audit that will help Hackney to change for the better rather than simply repeating the problems of the past.’
