Newcastle-based software house Sage presented the latest versions of its accounting and e-business-products. It showcased new versions of its Sage Line 200 and Sage Enterprise – its web-enabled financial and distribution packages, its top of the range Sage CS/3 package and Sage Web Enterprise software, all with increased functionality and modules. It also demonstrated the latest versions of its highly popular Sage Line 50 package for SMEs. Absent from the event were several senior figures. But the company denied further acquisitions were imminent.
