Ex-Powergen FD joins electricity4business
Business electricity supplier chooses highly experienced chartered accountant as its finance chief
Accountant and former FD of
Powergen, Simon
Richards, has joined
electricity4business, the
specialist UK supplier of business electricity, as its new finance chief.
Richards has nearly 20 years of experience in the electricity market, with
his most recent appointment being at Powergen.
Speaking on his new role, Richards said: ‘I am relishing the opportunity to
grow a business and challenge the way existing suppliers do things and to be
part of a small tightly-knit team with shared ambitions.’
Richards began his career as a management consultant with
Coopers &
Lybrand’s utilities group, specialising in system and process improvement.
