City law firm Lawrence Graham has appointed Simon Brown to the role of finance director of the firm. Brown joins the firm from Conran Holdings, where he was a client of the firm for many years. Brown qualified as a chartered accountant in 1987. After a spell on assignments throughout Europe with Deloitte Haskins & Sells, he returned to work in the City in 1990. There he worked first for Lloyds Merchant Bank, and then Hambros. He joined Conran in 1995. In his new role he will be responsible for guiding through the firm through an anticipated period of rapid growth and expansion.
