Drug company replaces Andersen with Deloitte

Struggling firm Andersen, has been replaced by Deloitte & Touche as the auditor of drug company Cambridge Antibody Technologies.

The move, announced this week to the London Stock Exchange, followed a competitive tendering process, in which Deloitte was voted in as the auditor of choice.

A spokeswoman for the group, said the board of directors was fully committed to ensuring it’s auditors maintained complete independence and objectivity.
