Pannells is the natural choice for internal audit work at English Nature

Pannell Kerr Forster has been appointed to provide internal audit services to English Nature and the Joint Nature Conservation Committee with effect from 1 April this year.

The firm, which was chosen from a shortlist of three to provide the service, will assess and review the organisations’ activities; consider the adequacy of internal controls needed to ensure propriety, economy, efficiency and effectiveness; and provide an annual opinion to the chief executive and the Audit Commission.

‘Our assurance and risk management team brings together people with considerable experience of providing internal audit services to different sectors of government, education, charities and business and who can offer a broad portfolio of skills,’ said PKF partner Tim Drew.

PKF already provides internal audit to the Competition Commission, East Midlands Development Agency and the Commission for Local Administration in England.
