Computer Sciences purchases Onward Technologies

Computer Sciences has taken a leaf out of Computer Associates’ book and decided to purchase Onward Technologies, a Web-focused consulting, development and systems integration company.

The company’s aim is to boost its presence in the Internet marketing, electronic commerce and extranet space.

CSC was itself the target of a failed hostile takeover attempt by CA at the start of the year, but has since been on an acquisition spree itself.

It acquired Information Technology Solutions at the beginning of April which generated $88m last year and focuses on the federal government marketplace.
