Philip Moore, finance director at insurance group Friends Provident will take
over as chief executive when Keith Satchell, the current chief executive retires
Yesterday that group announced that Satchell would step down after 10 years
in the job,
Moore will take over at some point in the first half of 2007 surprising
analysts, who have expressed concerns at his lack of experience in running
Friends Provident said though that the three years spent working alongside
Satchell had equipped Moore for the job.
