Mid tier firm Baker Tilly has seen off competition from Grant Thornton and
Ernst & Young to be name AIM Accountant of the Year for the fourth year
It received its award at the Growth Company Awards.
Gary Houghton, head of capital markets at Baker Tilly in the North, said: ‘We
have worked on more than 150 IPOs, and in the last year acted as reporting
accountants to 41 AIM admissions. We now act as auditors / tax advisors to over
120 AIM listed companies.’
Other firms short-listed included Kingston Smith, KPMG, and Grant Thornton.
Ernst & Young was runner-up.
