Tony Lee handed executive control as licensed software company makes several boardroom changes to reflect 'the changing nature of the business'

Formjet
has announced that finance director Tony Lee has been promoted to chief
executive as the company enters into a period of expansion. The
AIM-listed
company, which has a base of more than 400,000 direct customers and in excess of
17,000 corporate clients, also appointed its management accountant Emma Porteus
as financial controller.
Former CEO Lyndon Chapman was made chairman. Commenting on the changes
Chapman said:’Tony Lee has considerable software distribution experience as well
as proven finance skills and will be a great asset as CEO. Our aim is to
continue to deliver best practice corporate governance in line with the previous
policies.’
Formjet disclosed that it would be creating a new research and expansion
division in oorder to target new product ranges and potential acquisitions after
recent business wins with Tesco and
Dell.
The company stated that the restructuring means that the business would now
have the appropriate structure in place to secure similar contracts moving
forward.
