Thompson Jones merger.

Bury based Thompson Jones & Co and Gortons in Radcliffe have announced plans to merge as of 1st October 2000. The new partnership, Thompson Gorton Jones, will have five partners and about 60 employees. Two financial services business associated with the firms will merge early 2001, while the insurance broking business Thompson Jones Cloughley will continue to operate as part of the new group.
