Members of the steering group overseeing a review of audit and accountability in central government have been named. Among the 13 are Sir David Tweedie, chairman of the ASB and Sir John Bourn, head of the NAO. Andrew Smith, chief secretary to the Treasury, said the appointments would provide the best possible advice on audit, accountancy and accountability.
