Michelle Stanley, a legal secretary in the in-house legal department of KPMG, has become the first ever member of a Big Five firm to win the prestigious gold medal award of the National Association of Paralegals. Stanley, 27, won the award after beating 370 students who sat the association’s advance level examinations this year. She was presented with the award by the association’s general secretary John Stacey-Hibbert at KPMG’s offices.
